AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizIn this Fearless Networker Spotlight, we're featuring AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz a serious Network Marketer that has build a successful Network Marketing business and growing organization part-time.

The Fearless Networker:  AbdurRazaq, welcome to the Fearless Networker Spotlight!  How long have you been involved in the Network Marketing profession?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  I've been involved in the profession for 10 years.

The Fearless Networker:  And, how long have you been with your current company?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  I've been with my current company three years.

The Fearless Networker:  What were you doing before you got involved in Network Marketing?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  I was working in my father’s company and am still doing so today.

AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizThe Fearless Networker:  How did you first get introduced to the Network Marketing profession?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  I went for a root canal.  After the procedure the dentist and I were chatting and she asked me several questions about a subject which lead to inviting me to a presentation about that subject and it ended up being a business opportunity meeting.

At the beginning of the presentation I was skeptical, however, by the end of the session I was intrigued by the concept of Network Marketing, especially the idea of leveraging time and effort.

I still remember the quotation from the presentation that prompted me to pursue the business…“I would rather earn 1% of a 100 people’s efforts, than earn 100% of just my own effort.”  J. Paul Getty

The Fearless Networker:  Not everyone that joins this profession works it full-time.  As a serious part-time Network Marketer, how many people have you personally enrolled into your company?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  I've enrolled 81 people.

The Fearless Networker:  You've enrolled 81 people as a part-time professional?  That's outstanding!  What is the current size of your organization?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  My organization is currently made up of 5,473 people in 41 countries.

AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizThe Fearless Networker:  What was your biggest obstacle on your way to achieving success in this profession, and how did you overcome it?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  My biggest obstacle was my family.  Some of my close family members were lacking belief in the profession.  These individuals told me that it was a scam and I would not succeed.  I overcame this obstacle by first believing that I would succeed.  Secondly, I researched the company, the profession and the successful professionals.  What I found was contrary to my family's beliefs.  Armed with facts and knowledge, I learned the skills of how to succeed in Network Marketing and have never looked back!

The Fearless Networker:  You overcame a pretty big obstacle on your way to success.  Did you have any fears as you began your Network Marketing career?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  Failure!  I feared that if I did fail, I would be confirming the beliefs of the people who did not believe in me or the profession.  I feared that they would laugh at me and that meant humiliation.  Therefore, failure was NOT an option.

The Fearless Networker:  When it comes to building your group, what have been some of the most effective actions you’ve taken to help your team grow?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  The following four actions; service, humility, patience and system.

Service:  I try, as best as possible, to make myself available to assist anyone at the shortest notice.

Humility:  I learn from anyone…company leaders, other distributors and professional in Network Marketing.  The education that I receive assists me with building my business correctly and I teach my team to do the same.

AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizPatience:  Network Marketing is essentially a people business.  Your asset in this business is PEOPLE!  People come in different shades and sizes with multiple environmental and educational backgrounds.  I had to learn how to be accommodating.  And, I’m still learning.

System:  I found out that systems, not people, duplicate.  So right from the beginning I have followed and taught the this process:  Learn the system.  Do the system.  Teach the system.  Teach others to teach the system.

The Fearless Networker:  What does your typical day look like in terms of what you do in your business?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizAbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  I wake up early and have a quiet time then spend some time with my family before my daughters go to school and wife goes to work.  Then I check and respond to emails followed by connecting with my team via telephone calls and group messaging platforms (WhatsApp & FaceBook groups).  I call and interact with my core leadership group.  Time is spent doing three-way calls or calling prospects on behalf of business partners who have made such requests.  I personally engage with new prospects and follow-up with prospects via phone calls or go out to make friends.  Later in the day I pick up my daughters from school and spend time with my family.  In the evening I train my team or other teams in the company via video conference and then study before going to bed.

“Invest in yourself.  The more you learn, the more you will earn.”  AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz

The Fearless Networker:  That is a productive day!  What have you found to be the most effective means of recruiting new distributors into your business, and how do you go about doing it?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  Face-to-face meetings are effective.  I explore avenues to connect with people who I know and don’t know, warm and cold markets.  This initial contact could be via a phone call, email, business or social gathering or social media.  Once a connection is established, I build rapport.  up to a point that it is convenient to ask them if they are open to look at my business opportunity.  If so, I request for a live meeting at which I show them the business opportunity.  Some see the value immediately and join the business.  I set up a follow-up system for those who show interest and keep updating them until they are ready to join.

AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizThe Fearless Networker:  Are their any specific strategies you’ve implemented into growing your business that you’ve found to be exceptionally productive?  If so…can you share a bit about them?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  Yes! Taking massive action in a specific period of time (30, 60 or 90 days).  Typically, this action involves recruiting new people into my business.  After all, the life blood of a business is the new blood.  And, success loves speed!  My favorite recruiting strategy is going all-out to recruit 20 people in 30 days.

Secondly, I consistently share the business opportunity with prospects and invite them to live and online presentations.  I do my best to show my business to five people every day.

The Fearless Networker:  What’s one solid piece of advice that you’d give someone entering this profession for the very first time?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  Rome was not built in a day.  You must commit at least two years of actively learning about and building your business before you will see significant results.

AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizThe Fearless Networker:  Speaking of results, how has being involved in Network Marketing changed your life?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  Two words; personal development.  Everyday is training day in Network Marketing.  There is always something new to learn, either by studying or observation.  This learning process has made me a better person.

Network Marketing is a people business.  Over the last 10 years I have met the best and worst types of people (and everything in between).  Network Marketing has helped me to develop a variety of skills that are necessary to deal and cope with people.

Network Marketing has made it possible for me and my family to enjoy a better lifestyle enabled me to build relationships with people from various walks of life globally.

The Fearless Networker:  What are your favorite business books and WHY?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-AzizThe Fearless Networker:  Do you have any suggestions for people to ensure that they make Network Marketing a lasting and successful business to pursue for a lifetime?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  To be successful in Network Marketing you ABSOLUTELY must invest in two things:

Invest in yourself.  You must continually invest in learning about your company and the profession.  The more you learn, the more you will earn.

Invest in the tools and materials that will enable you to succeed with your business.  Tools and materials include your company products, professional attire, books, audio books, internet connection, etc.

The Fearless Networker:  What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received that’s served you well in business?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  Never become complacent.

The Fearless Networker:  If you could share anything that would massively impact the people reading this, what would you say?

AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz:  What you are and all you have achieved until now is a sum total of what you have thought about and done.  You can do, be and have much more by thinking and doing 10x, 50x, 100x and even much more.  You have greatness inside.

The Fearless Networker:  I couldn't have said it any better.  Thank you AbdurRazaq Abdul-Aziz!
