Every year, the same pattern shows up across the entire network marketing profession.
The calendar flips to November, people start thinking about travel, food, gifts, parties, and family time, and suddenly the business gets pushed to the back burner.
And then they justify it with the same line:
“People don’t want to talk during the holidays.”
It sounds reasonable.
It feels legitimate.
It gives you permission to take your foot off the gas.
But it is absolutely not true. In fact, the opposite is true.
This is one of the best times of the entire year to reconnect with people, rebuild relationships, and prime your business for massive growth coming into the new year. If you turn it off now, you are not just resting. You are losing momentum that will affect you 60 to 90 days from now.
Think about it.
Every result you ever create in this business is the result of what you did 2 to 3 months earlier.
So if you stop now, January and February are going to feel slow, frustrating, and stagnant. Not because the profession stopped working, but because you did.
And the idea that “people don’t want to talk during the holidays” is nothing more than a convenient excuse.
The truth is simple:
You can make an excuse to not build your business any time of the year.
If it is not holidays, it is summer.
If it is not summer, it is back-to-school.
If it is not back-to-school, it is spring break.
If it is not spring break, it is tax season.
There is always a reason to avoid taking action.
Winners do not use the calendar as a reason to stop.
They use it as a reason to get ahead.
And during the holidays, people are actually more open to conversation than ever.
People are in a reflective mindset.
People are reconnecting with old friends.
People are evaluating their life, their goals, and the upcoming year.
People are more open to talking, catching up, and hearing about new possibilities.
This is a relationship business, and the holidays create the perfect environment for meaningful conversations.
If you stay active right now, you can create a surge of momentum that will hit hard in the first quarter of the year. If you turn off, you start the year behind.
Stop selling yourself short.
Stop making excuses.
Stop telling yourself a story that slows you down.
Stay in the game when everyone else checks out, and you will come into January with all the momentum while the rest of the field tries to restart their engines.
