In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Allan and Nicole Blain, a dynamic couple who have been together for over 30 years and have successfully homeschooled six kids. With a network marketing journey that spans 24 years, their story is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and the power of building both online and offline. Allan and Nicole initially built a full-time income by focusing on gathering customers, but their journey took an unexpected turn when they stepped away from the business for a number of years, only to return in 2015 to the same company—a company that was founded in 1958. Their success story proves that you don't need to be first or early in the game to achieve success in network marketing.

A Journey Spanning Decades: Allan and Nicole's journey in network marketing began 24 years ago. Back then, they were driven by a simple yet powerful approach: gathering customers. This strategy paid off, allowing them to build an organization that provided a full-time income. But life took them in a different direction, and they decided to step away from the business for several years.

In 2015, they made the decision to return to the same network marketing company, a company that has been around since 1958. Their return was anything but ordinary. Instead of starting from scratch, they picked up where they left off, applying the lessons they had learned over the years to build their business once again—this time with a mix of online and offline strategies.

Online and Offline: A Balanced Approach: One of the key takeaways from my conversation with Allan and Nicole is the importance of balancing online and offline efforts in network marketing. While the digital age offers incredible opportunities to reach a wider audience, they emphasize that the offline, personal touch is irreplaceable. Over the past nine years, they have leveraged both avenues to grow their business, understanding that each plays a critical role in creating a sustainable and thriving network.

Building Loyalty, Belief, and Culture Through Small Events: Another crucial element of their success is the focus on small events, particularly in up-and-coming legs of their business. Allan and Nicole discussed how these events, whether they are intimate gatherings or larger meetings, help to build loyalty, belief, and culture within their organization. They see these events as the glue that holds their team together, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose that is essential for long-term success.

Allan and Nicole Blain's story is a powerful reminder that success in network marketing isn’t about being first or getting in early—it’s about consistency, adaptability, and the willingness to evolve with the times. Whether you’re building your business online, offline, or both, their insights provide a valuable roadmap for anyone looking to create a lasting impact in the industry.
