Network Marketers Need to STOP Using this Term!

We teach people in network marketing to be “coachable”.
In other words…don't re-invent the wheel and do what we tell them to do.

But, some things aren't worth repeating and should NOT be duplicated!

One of those things that I am ADAMANT about getting rid of is this whole idea that the word JOB stands for “Just Over Broke.”  What a complete and utter insult to virtually everyone on the planet!  STOP!!

I thought it was cute, fancy and funny when I first heard it over 20 years ago too.  I even started using it myself.
Why?  Because I was coachable!  And…one of my mentors used the phrase, so I did too.

Until…

…I realized that I was insulting the very person I was attempting to bring into my business!  Saying that J.O.B. stands for Just Over Broke is a complete insult.  You just put down the very person you're looking to bring into your business.

STOP using this phrase!!!!!!
STOP!  Don't do it anymore!

People who have jobs should be honored and respected.  If you have a job, you're responsible.  If you're taking care of your family, your obligations and contributing…that's something I deeply respect, REGARDLESS of how you choose to do it.

Jobs aren't bad.  Who the hell are we as network marketers to be so full of ourselves to think that network marketing is the ONLY way?  It's not.  It never will be.  Yes…it's A way, but not the ONLY way.

Let's do our best job of lifting others up and not insulting people who get up and work hard every day to feed their families.

We'll bring a lot more people into our profession as soon as we stop insulting them.
