The Secret To Speeding Up Your Communication Skills
Ok, the concept is called recording yourself.
I’ve been doing this for decades, and it’s allowed me to get excellent results much faster than most everything else.
The strategy is you want to record yourself while prospecting.
Then you want to go back and review your performance when you finish.
It’s pretty simple and yet powerful in helping you get good fast.
What you’ll find when you start recording yourself is interesting.
For example, you might be talking to someone and think it’s going great.
Then you listen to the recording, and it’s not so good.
When recording yourself, you’ll also be able to pick up on how your prospect is responding to your questions.
You’ll start to notice their tonality and how they’re saying what they’re saying.
At the same time, you’ll notice things you’re doing right.
What you want to do here is simply keep what’s working and delete what’s not working.
To this very day, I still use this method for myself.
I constantly review my presentations, so I’m continuously improving my presentation skills.
And with all the technology today, there are all kinds of different apps you can use to do this.
The Only Thing That Matters Is Action
Now, if you think this sounds too simple, it’s not.
Even though it’s simple, I can assure you that it will get you results quickly.
The reason for this is because you’re able to get direct feedback from your actions.
And here’s the thing…
You can do this with your FB live videos, youtube videos, business presentations, etc.
For now, you want to start doing it with your prospecting.
When it comes to prospecting and talking with people about your business, practice is paramount.
