In many cases, it’s distributors—well-meaning, enthusiastic, but completely misinformed reps—who are triggering the alarm bells.

Know the Rules — Or Risk Everything

Here’s what too many people still don’t understand:

You can’t make product claims.
You can’t make income claims.
You can’t make lifestyle claims.

That means no “my product cured my arthritis.”
No “I made five figures in my first month.”
And no “look at me walking in slow motion with a Bentley, Rolex, and red bottoms to prove I made it.”

Even if those things are true, if you're using that media or messaging to promote your opportunity, it's considered enticement—and that’s a violation.

Yes, It’s Unfair. But It’s Still the Law.

I get it. You worked hard. You bought the car, the watch, the dream house.
But if you're using those images as part of your pitch? You're now implying that someone else can get the same result just by joining your company.

And that’s not how this works. That’s not truthful marketing—it’s hype.

And regulators don’t just frown on it…
They screenshot it, investigate it, and build legal cases with it.

Leaders and Companies Must Step Up

If you're in corporate? Build a compliance-first culture.  Train people not just at onboarding, but continuously.

Monitor the field. Stop turning a blind eye to “top producers” who are causing long-term harm.  And yes—be willing to cut ties with people who refuse to play by the rules.

If you're a field leader? Lead by example.

You don’t have to sacrifice passion to be compliant. You can still be inspiring, but tell the truth.  Be clear. Be honest. Be real.

This Is Bigger Than a Single Post

The network marketing profession is constantly fighting for credibility.
Every reckless post makes it harder for the rest of us to operate.

We can’t afford to let this continue.
