I have a very simple daily exercise that will make you more productive.

It's simple.
It makes you more productive.
And…if you do it daily, it will change your life.

Just saying that gets me excited.  And while that is a BIG statement, I believe it's true.

I've been teaching this exercise on stages all over the world for over 10 years.  In fact, this lesson is something I talk about on almost every single platform I speak on when it comes to increasing productivity in network marketing.

I like building things into my business that remind me of how I'm doing.  Feedback mechanisms are powerful.  With feedback, you can change.  The more you're aware of something, the easier it is to make adjustments to whatever you're doing so you do those things better.

It's the “Draw a Box” exercise, and it works like this.

You already know that if you're going to be successful in network marketing, you have to prospect.  If you don't know that, now you do.

The way to the money is exposure.  Talking to people.  Prospecting is the lifeblood of this business.  In order for you to succeed, you have to be out there putting people on your product and enrolling people into the business.  It's where the rubber meets the road.  It's what we do.

Problem is…

The problem is that a lot of people “kid themselves” into believing they're actually doing something, when in all reality they aren't.  It's easy to get caught up in menial activities, or things that keep us busy, yet have no direct correlation with helping us to increase sales.  You have to do things that make you money!!   Prospecting makes you money.

So…the best way I've found to see if I'm really IN the game or not, is to DRAW A BOX.

Here's how it works.

At the end of every day, go to your journal (it's where I do it), and draw a box.  Put today's date next to it.  And…inside that box, put in the number of NEW people you talked to that day about your product or your business opportunity.

That's it.  Simple.  What's the number?

Zero.  Not good.  You're not even in the business if you ever have a day with a ZERO in it.
One.  How sweet.  You mean, you talked to ONE WHOLE person that day!  You're probably tired.
Two.  You're getting there.
Three.  You're showing some progress.
Four.  Now you're talking.
Five.  Man…you really ARE building your business.  Great job!!!!

Now…I could go on and on, but I won't.

Bottom line for you is GETTING REAL WITH YOURSELF and becoming personally ACCOUNTABLE for your actions or inactions.  Too many people think they're doing this business, but doing nothing.

This is a REALITY CHECK for you, and something to do DAILY.

What if you spent the next 90-days drawing a box on a piece of paper in your journal and writing in the number of people that you talked to that day about your business?  Where would your awareness be???

The heightened level of awareness about your activity or inactivity will WAKE YOU UP and force you to change.

You cannot stare at a ZERO every day and not get sick of it.  Step up the the plate.

Take responsibility.  This is YOUR business.  Be real with you and take the DRAW A BOX test seriously.

It will change you.  I promise.
