Let’s talk about presentation skills. If you plan to be in this business of network marketing for a while, you want to get good at presenting. Whether that be presenting your product to a potential customer, presenting your business opportunity to a possible new rep, or even presenting a training session for your team. This skill of presenting is a must-have. Now, in today’s training session, I will give you some shortcuts on quickly improving your presentation skills. And, this skill set is even more critical if you’re doing videos on social media. Dialing in your presentation skills is not about becoming a public speaker. It’s about becoming an effective communicator and capturing your audience. Ok, let’s begin…

Shortcut For Getting Good At Presentations

It’s kind of funny. When I first started in network marketing 30 plus years ago. We had to be able to deliver the entire presentation live. Why? Because there was no internet or social media. We would have to give the actual presentation in front of a group of people. So dialing in your presentation skills was a must. Everyone who came into the business had to learn how to do the actual presentation. At first, it was nerve-racking, and over time it became second nature. Now, I’m not saying you have to start giving full-blown presentations. What I am saying is that you want to study good presentations and learn from them. Then start practicing on your own. This could be learning about your products and then practicing talking about them. It could also be learning more about the opportunity in the business and practice talking about it.

Using Your Presentation Skills On Social Media

Now, you might be thinking…“ Todd, I have videos that do the presentation for me, so do I still need to dial in my presentation skills?” My response…Great to use the tools, better to master the main pitch. For example, if you have a 15-minute presentation, I would watch that presentation until I had the key points down. Once you have these key points down, it becomes straightforward to talk about them. Now, when you are doing your social media videos, you’ll be able to communicate effectively. Make sure you watch my video above because I go into great detail on this. Also…You also want to study good headlines for your social media videos. The headline is what grabs eyeballs and stops the scroll. Keep your eyes open to model what other successful people are doing.
