One of the most critical aspects of network marketing is prospecting. To have any kind of success in this business, we must bring in new customers consistently. If we want to grow a large team, we want to be introducing people to the business side of things. Either way, we must regularly talk with people about our products and opportunity. Now, there’s a misconception that you need to be doing the business full-time to make a full-time income. This is not necessarily true. I’ll share a quick story on this shortly. Please understand that it’s entirely possible to make a full-time income with part-time activity if done the right way. And in today’s training, I’m going to show you how to do this. What is part-time activity in network marketing? In this case, I would say if you’re actively working the business between 10-20 hours per week. I would consider this part-time activity. The great thing about this business is that it’s NOT about “TIME.” We don’t get paid based on our time doing something like you would in a typical job. We get paid for collecting decisions. Our job is to simply put people in front of our company's information and collect a yes or a no. Otherwise known as prospecting. The truth is you can start building a great business part-time. Quick story on this… I had one of my team members doing the business part-time back in the day. He had a two-hour commute to work each day. He called me one day and told me he was quitting the business because he simply did not have the time due to his job. During that call, I was able to show him how he could use his part-time activity more effectively. For example, he could do his prospecting to and from work each day. Just by becoming fully engaged in the business, things took off. Before too long, he was generating a six-figure income and going full-time in the business.
