Ok, in my opinion (after 30+ years in this industry), the number one main reason people fail in network marketing is that they just don’t do the work. There’s a lot of people in this industry that promote something I call “magical thinking.” This is where you’re told that you’ll be making millions within a few months of doing the business. This is NOT reality. What this does is set up false expectations for the new people coming into the business. This is a recipe for failure, and quite frankly, it’s what gives the industry a bad reputation. The truth is network marketing is a real business and takes real work. I like to say that network marketing works for the people that work it. So the first thing we must get clear on is your commitment to DO THE WORK for your business.
The Secret Steps To Becoming Successful In Network Marketing
Now, let’s say you’re committed to building your business, and you’re doing the work. The challenge is you’re not having the type of success you want. What do you do now? Great question. What you want to do is measure the results from all of the steps you’re doing to build the business. Example: I use my proven road map, which contains my five-step formula for building a successful network marketing business. These are the five “must-do’s” to create life-changing results in your business based on my experience. Using a proven formula like this allows you a path to follow. Then what you’ll do is measure your results at each of the five steps. This way, you’ll know if you’re on the right track and doing what needs to be done. For example, if you’re talking to people and you’re not setting appointments, we need to look at what you’re saying on the call. This is the area you want to work on first and improve on. Before too long, you’ll start booking appointments and bring new people into your business.
